Your free address
Every app gets your-app.dockhosting.cloud with HTTPS. Apps from before November 2026 are moving there from dockhosting.dev.
Every app gets an address on dockhosting.cloud, for example my-app.dockhosting.cloud, with an HTTPS certificate from the moment it's created. You pick the name when you create the project.
Why dockhosting.cloud
Your apps live on their own domain, separate from the DockHosting dashboard on dockhosting.dev. Your app and our dashboard can't affect each other's cookies or reputation.
Apps on dockhosting.dev
Apps created before November 2026 started on your-app.dockhosting.dev. They move to your-app.dockhosting.cloud, keeping the same name, automatically on 4 November 2026, or earlier with Move now in the dashboard.
After the move:
- Visitors on an old link are sent to the same page on the new address (permanent redirect).
- Webhooks sent to the old address (Stripe, GitHub, a payment provider…) are forwarded for 90 days. Update their URL in the sending service before then.
- Custom domains don't change, and there's no rebuild and no downtime.
Update hard-coded addresses
If your code or your settings contain your-app.dockhosting.dev (an OAuth callback URL, a CORS origin, ALLOWED_HOSTS…), change them to .dockhosting.cloud. APP_URL updates by itself at your next deploy.
Use your own domain
On paid plans you can add your own domain, like shop.example.com. See Custom domains.
